Eligibility Criteria For Sainik School :
1. Eligibility for Class 6 2025
- Age Limit: The candidate must be between 10 and 11 years old as of 31st March 2025.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed Class 5 or be currently enrolled in Class 5 from a recognized school.
2. Eligibility for Class 9 2025
- Age Limit: The candidate must be between 13 and 14 years old as of 31st March 2025.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed Class 8 or be currently enrolled in Class 8 from a recognized school.
Passing Marks for Admission Class 6th& 9th 2025 :
A candidate is eligible for admission to Sainik Schools, if he/she secures a minimum of 25% marks in each subject of the exam and 40% marks in of all subject of AISSEE 2025. Admission will be based on e-counselling as per the merit list of AISSEE 2025 , medical fitness and verification of documents.
In case a SC/ST/OBC category candidates comes in the general merit , he or she would be admitted against general seat and will be adjusted against the reserved share of SC/ST/OBC seats.

Interview and Medical Examination 2025 :
After the written exam results are declared, candidates will be called for the next stages of the selection process:
- Interview: The interview round is designed to assess the personality, communication skills and leadership potential of the candidates. It is conducted by the respective Sainik Schools.
